Hi All,
I picked this one up about 6 months or so ago from a fellow member. The condition of the wood was a real draw for me.
The rifle appears to have been stashed after serving a stint in the EWB immediately post-WW1. It remained so in the 20s/30s thus never received any upgrades or rework. The numbers are matching except for an unnumbered rear band, handguard and a Gew88 screw in the rear of the triggerguard. There is a repaired duffel cut behind the rear band.
I've included the receiver and bolt codes for the study. Otherwise, I'll let the pictures tell the tale.
