1917 Danzig G98 hidden gems.

I decided to do a deep clean and preservation on my 1917 G98 made in Danzig, it’s non import marked and has all matching numbers. When I pulled the butt plate off for the first time since Ive owned it I discovered two cartridges crammed inside the stock. Dated 1918!

I remember when you posted this on Facebook. Pretty cool find!
 
Factory "all matching" is rather rare, even for one of the most common maker-dates (00-block for sure , very late in the 9000 oo range with many supporting); very probable broke into the pp block... but still condition rarity is still rare for 1917.
