1934 Mauser pistol

Hello all,
Just picked up a 1934 Mauser with holster From a friend that bought it at an estate sale several years ago. The pistol has the typical waffen stamp and there is a faint makers mark on the inside flap of the holster, all that I can make out on the holster is Dresden there are other numbers I can’t make out. I have a few questions about the holster. First off is this original to the pistol and second the names that are written on the inside flap! Would those be the names of the officers that it would have been issued to or something totally different. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

WaA 1934 pistols aren't that common. The HSc was its replacement, IIRC the '34 production ended when the HSc started. Many holsters were used that weren't necessarily made for the pistol that ended up inside. The holster has an angled mag pouch, the 1934 has a flat base so it doesn't really fit the mag. The wear pattern formed by the pistol on the holster will tell you it sat inside- or not. One will never know, perhaps the GI obtained the gun and then found a holster or upgraded what he had. Names on the inside are the former owners or could be a GI that picked it up. It's a nice find of an uncommon pistol.

There could be probably exact date the pistol when known the WaA proof, any strap marking?

655 as mentioned on Gunboard should be very late 1939 / early 1940 started to stamp, so it should be very late production of the Modell, as Mauser fluently continued into HSc production
"HSc - Production began in late 1940 at serial number 700,000, as an extension of the serial number range of the Mauser Model 1934 pistol, ".

correct on the time line. that holster is very odd. maybe foreign made. Looks off to me.
Yes I was told it is a makarov holster post war. I looked into it and it appears to be accurate. The pistol appears to be all correct so not all is lost. The guy I get my stuff from is usually on top of things but missed that. I’m currently working with him on a k43 rifle I believe it’s a qve 45. If I get it I’ll be posting that next.
