The guy sold off his father in laws bring back collection to my local FFL. The dealer kept the two Lugers with documentation and the 1911a1. I couldn’t believe someone sold off their families bring back weapons they got in the war. I’m just glad I got this out of the 4 pistols he brought back. Said it didn’t have its paperwork anymore.

Their loss is your gain. At least you know what it is and will cherish it as such.

It’s got one of the two SN magazines. Finding one with both matching SN magazines is crazy rare.

It looks like a 8 on the muzzle instead of the 9. It certainly could be a 9 though
