1945 Steyr swj marked MP44 xxxx/XE

1945 Steyr swj marked MP44 xxxx/XE. This one has the raw/bare finish throughout less the blued stock ferrule (yes, serial matching to this rifle), the magazine catch, and the dust cover. Note the late features to include the simplified receiver stamping and the simplified (flat slab) buttstock. Also of note is that the rear sight is no longer serialized, at least not on this example. Curious they were still threading the muzzles at this point. Probably using up all the parts they had.
