A tale of two Rucks

I have had these a long time. Looking for information and opinions on these two packs. I believe one is a mountain trooper ruck in excellent condition. Not sure on the other one. Looks like a horse hair pack without the hair. I will most likely post these in the trader section eventually just want to be sure of what they are. Thanks for any time spent commenting.BCF855F5-AAFE-4B0A-A8B9-E8021E29DC90.jpg1F3789AB-100C-4935-BFE1-701061B3F3C9.jpg139511B5-E94F-4A60-A65A-2D1BA72C6118.jpg9EAC42A3-0654-462F-AC5E-0E1E22E1F778.jpgD7C7D2B1-EBC8-4372-A429-EB82E53288B2.jpg7CD3F0B5-AE2C-4D4D-B320-9473E4681ACC.jpg01BC17B3-FC92-4F50-BD0B-90FFB3D841DC.jpgA86AA5A1-32D8-4396-916B-859ABED202B5.jpgA9B54A05-2F30-469D-BE35-CC5BBC8FFF97.jpg

Both really nice pieces. M31 mountain ruck and m34 pack. The m34 is seen with and without fur. Both of these packs are seen in lots of variation prewar and wartime. Both appear complete and without condition issues. Nice gear!

Thanks for the information IB. Now I’ll try a little google-fu to see what these sell for these days. Thanks again

My opinion is you'll find the m34 between $100 and $150 and mountain ruck all over the place going up to $350. 1944 militaria typically has a nice selection of this type of gear for sale in their original section. His prices are realistic as his inventory rotates in short order. Bunker militaria may be a good place to check too.

Damn, that's cool. It's interesting how similar some of the wartime German kit looks like 1950's-ish Swiss gear. Similar AO, similar demands and mission set. Nice stuff, congrats!
