Picked this up last year from a good friend here on the forum, thanks largely in part to another friend helping with a trade deal. Came with a killer wood case also.

Anyways, super nice condition panel cut sniper. AC44 Q block which I am sure was finished in 1945 due so many of it's late features. All matching

And I have it's brother from the same letter block. They even have the same phosphate mags. Although I think the none sniper was finished even later because it has a phosphate from sight base.

Stellar pair. Also a very nice comparison of the stocks within the same block, which both appear un-messed with. Yes, I'm aware they could have actually been built quite farther apart than serials and letter blocks suggest.
In particular the high leading edge there on the buttstock. Even within my own rifles, no matter if Walther, BLM, or Gustloff, I've noticed some will have a more pronounced "sharper" edge than others.
My own ac44 Q block (2645) has a white glue stock with that sharp leading edge on the buttstock.

A question on the box, is it stenciled or serialized in any way and if so is it to that mount or rifle?
I only ask because a BLM mount I have has a typical BLM type stenciling matching to the mount ( I do not have the rifle) while the stenciled numbers on an original box I have that came with Walther mount is so faded that I can't make out the numbers on it. Also those numbers are in a different location and style as the BLM mount.
I thought I would ask as so few boxes are available to study.

No number on the case which is why I like it so much. Every time I find a case it has a number on it. I don’t remember if I have ever seen a Walther mount with a numbered case. But have seen plenty BLM examples.

Very nice, great rifle! Does it have the backwards 45 top of the bolt carrier?
Yes both have a reverse 45 and no hold open latch.

That's an absolute stunner of a Walther sniper, doesn't get more textbook than that! Love seeing the pairing, maybe one day I'll see something that nice in person. I've added this one to the reference.
