Anyone recognize these markings on the receiver? Yugo capture k98.

Gents, I recently won a pristine captured Yugo k98 which has “43” on the receiver top. It seems to have been rebarrelled and re-blued. I’m wondering its origin, Is it Steyr bnz? Can anyone tell me any information? Thank you in advance!

It's definitely a Yugo rebarreled and refinished k98k. What else do you want to know? They're usually good shooters.
You can farm around in the picture reference area to see if you can identify the font of the 43 date. Let us know what you can find out.

I have a Yugo rework with a S147 roll mark still vaguely visible. They did what they did with whatever. They have their place in history. On the market for a full German model? This is the place to find one.

Thank you! Does the last pic’s markings tell you what factory it was made?

it’s my first k98 because I wanted a shooter. Now, I want a fully birded one. I love the history behind all of them!!! Thank you.

You're getting hooked! Lol. It happens. I'll give you some advice: research first buy second. Trust me. Poke around here and check things out. Prices have gone nuts lately, but keep your cool and something will come up.
