Hello everyone. I recently picked up a K98 all matching serial numbers (bolt included) that is marked AX 1940. I can’t seem to find much about these markings and was wondering if anyone has knowledge of it. Thank you.
 
Congrats and welcome. Pictures would help of course. Not sure what you're trying to find out, but people here could probably answer any questions you may have. An AX code would be made by Erma using mostly in house made parts and pieces with a few small subcontract parts snuck in. They're fairly desirable in their own right.
