Bayonet identification and sale

I apologize for the overall condition of these two bayonets, apparently they were kept in open area and exposed to the elements for many years.
Bayonet #1: Though I cannot find a date stamp, perhaps you can confirm this to be a German WW1 dress sawback kurzes bayonet, scabbard and leather frog by famous maker C. G. Haenel from Suhl, Germany. Though I do not know the material used in the handle grips, I believe they are an early pattern three rivet handle. Overall weight: 1.5 lbs, blade length: 9 7/8" overall length: 15" handle length: 5 1/4".

Bayonet #2: Though I cannot find a date stamp, perhaps you can confirm this to be a German WW2 bayonet, scabbard and leather frog by maker Carl Eickhorn. I see a 37 stamped on the top of the scabbard which I believe may stand for the date 1937. A #6112 stamped on the scabbard top which I assume to be a serial number, but also #3720-1 stamped on the blade itself, which is somewhat confusing. The handles are wood with 2 screws, perhaps an early 1937 design. The blue blade is still seen. Overall weight: 1.5 lbs., blade length 10", Overall length: 16", handle length: 5".

I understand not sharpen the blades, but can you advise a product to clean and restore them? Best method also to remove the rust on the scabbards? And a good product to restore the leather? In better condition, would you have an idea of the rarity of either of these two and an approximate value?

Thanks so much for your help,
Anacortesian

Unfortunally very dark pictures, should be made by mobil and better resize to smaller resolution. Metall parts should be oiled with gunoil,
nr.1 could be KS98 eventually too service weapon, when not acceptance on blade spine near crossguard it could be a dress weapon early period, here is mising the locking lug, the frog is not correct but most real WW2 as with secure strap. The frog is certainly not a Haenel production, possible the scabbards is too not corect and was combined with WW2 type. The leather could be cleaned by lanoline wout color.
nr.2 is normal S84/98 from NS period, WaA253 should be on various parts of Eickhorn 1937, by different serial numbers are the parts missmatched, even made by same maker in same date, under serial should be letter of series. Offcoarse frog was marked by different maker, Eickhorn didnt made any frogs.

If you are just going to sell these bayonets and not collect ( keep) them, I would suggest that you do nothing further than perhaps applying a little gun oil to the metal parts and wiping off with a clean cloth. Do not use any abrasives( i.e. steel wool, wire brush, sandpaper) or chemicals. Leave any cleaning to prospective buyers. Take better pics of over all bayonet and up close of serial numbers/ maker names/codes.
