nice gun, george. i have pics of that gun in my safe,,,,holding a space for it until it arrives. :)

george, open breeches are nice but i'm kind of a buttstock guy.
archie, he actually shoots that bcd45. i'd be happy with one half as nice and he shoots that.

Holy cow, that's beautiful George. Thanks for sharing, pic stickied for reference.

I guess I'd rather see him shoot it than clean it ... :p

As long as nothing breaks.. only the dog knows for sure....

Thanks for the extra pics George. BC= Barrel Code, if there is one.

If you ever get a double of this sucker, let me know! Truly a fantastic rifle! :happy0180:

Rob the BC is ci from what I can remember, Dave you know me I like a good buttstock also, TA it is true I shot her, not alot one full mag of cast lead reloads, Thanks Craig for the pic sticky I have to dig the pre war luft rifle out again. GR

TA, I agree with you. I left majority of the grease in there, never wanted to change the as found condition, if that crap kept it from rusting for 65+ years it can stay.

Nice bcd45- I like them like this, as found. Too many guns get ruined by someone over cleaning them. I do take them out of the stock to check for rust, I've seen too many with rust starting under the woodline.
