All matching, but optics BNZ Single Claw 9231h. Scope and Rings are original 1721E with BMJ tube 75596, which is in Single Claw serial range. The stock is really nice. I have been looking for a 1944 Single Claw for 10 years that I could buy. Found the rifle at SOS Wednesday night. The scope I got from Europe about ten years ago. I have been looking for a rifle to put it on ever since.

It came with a S marked winter trigger.

Nice rifle. Single claws are awesome and not easy to find. I saw this at the Tulsa show in April. Congrats on picking it up and thanks for the good pictures. I’ll add it to the sticky thread when I get home and am on my computer.
 
Congratulations on finally getting your rifle. It looks fantastic. I just hope it doesn't take me 10 years to find a scope for mine although I've been searching for five rears so far.

Thanks Peter. I will keep looking for you. You know there is one out there. It's just a matter of finding it. Hopefully, it's the matching one that is out there for your rifle.
 
it looks even better in those pics than in the snapshots you had sent earlier. Congratulations to buying it and thanks for sharing with us.
 
Hello Damian. Not sure of where original scope is. Kind of a needle in a haystack. It’s hard to find just any scope these days. This rifle came with a repro scope with rings and luckily I had this original one with a different serial to put on it. It’s taken me 10 years just to get this far. Ha Ha. The original matching scope would be great though. I could sell this scope to a guy who is looking for an original SC Scope.

Herc, try a free app called XNConvert. You drag and drop the photos in it and can batch make changes like resizing and downgrading the JPEG quality…. Super super easy to use but powerful.

I have only held two of them. They always look really new from what I have seen. Probably at least too late in the war to ever have been used much if at all. I have yet to see one that looks really used.
 
Very nice SC Brian I was looking forward to seeing it , Your pics show the rifle in its true light , unlike the Tulsa photos I had seen . Patients and persistence does pay off , and this proves it . Glad You finally got Your SC Rifle .

Heres an old thread on the latest know Single Claw. Does anyone have photos of a 1944 letter I or j block Single Claw Rifle or a later Single Scope (75XXX) with letter I or j block on it?

Highest known SC?

Question fellas, I’m trying to figure out what the highest observed SC range is? Letter block range or better yet the BC to see about when they taper off? Thanks for any input!
