Stopped by my local shop today to pick up some AR parts for a build. While I was ther I asked about any new milsurp guns that had come in. The owner said he had two from an estate they are going through, a K98 Mauser and an Artillery Luger.
I asked to see the K98 and he brought it out. A, at first glance, nice byf 44 in a stock I can't quite decide if red or white laminate. A look0over showed external numbers matching. a psosphate bolt. Un numbered stamped bands, stamped byf marked triggerguard and floorplate, also un numbered.
Late war trigger plate/guard assmbly. without locking screws.
Chatter on stock at wrist, pistol grip and heel.
Going to take some pics, I already took the plung and bought it. (fingers crossed)
