I haven't bought from Gunbroker in a long time, mainly because shite gets bid way over actual value. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I'm not willing to pay over $3k for a 98k just yet....
Yes, I think many would agree that the prices on Gunbroker get bid way up and way above a reasonable market value and not just for K98ks but for any guns worth their salt especially military. Then once the bid is done you have to pay the state taxes, any GB fees and most likely a credit card fee of 3%-4%. That can add 8% to 10% to your end price if you live in a tax hungry state. Sometimes its hard to swallow the added taxes and fees. If it is a good gun, you probably will find it hard to get a bargain in GB.....I haven't bought from Gunbroker in a long time, mainly because shite gets bid way over actual value. "Putting my arm around you", please step into my gun room sir.....I'm the lucky high bidder of this. It wasn't cheap but this is an expensive hobby that we all enjoy. This isn't the first time I've spent over market value for a K98 and certainly won't be the last!
