Cleaned her up . 71/84 SPANDAU 1887

She is not a Beauty queen but definitely has that been there look. All matching other than bolt. Functions great. bore is real nice. This one is going to be a shooter and I will look for a real nice one for the collection. learned a lot about this model and its functions which are unique.

Working on that. Thought I had the correct ammo but realized it was for the 71. 71 ammo don't fit in the 71/84. But soon we are going to the range with her. I will Video.

71/84

I like it a lot. It looks about like mine. I have had mine a few years, but just started shooting from the mag this year. I always shot it single until now. After I finally got everything working. It is a real hoot to shoot it from the mag. I load my own smoke less loads using Trail Boss power. That makes it a lot easier come clean up, especially the brass. I also have a 71 rifle and 71 carbine. The carbine would never shoot a group with blackpower. After I started shooting smokeless my barrel started clean better and started to shoot groups. I have some new brass on the way off GB. I need to order some more bullets to load into them. I have all the rest of my brass loaded and ready to start shooting if spring ever gets here. Nice 71/84.
