Completely unmarked canteen (VerBliFa M42?)

Had this for several years and never thought much of it having no markings anywhere. Started getting curious and learned about some examples made in the Netherlands with no markings. fjm44.com has one listed that sounds similar but the cup is not painted as this one is. Any ideas? I really don't go down the accessories rabbit hole too often.
