Bayonet made by the major manufacturer W.K.C, but with interesting early three-letter code. The frog was made by Carl Ackva in 1942. It's got a couple of new rivets after the war, but I'll take it.

Yes this is a nice piece, i had one in m range unfortunally not well preserved and sharpened so i sold it some years ago, even it was highest reported cvl 1940. LW frog .

I also like these transitional variations and wide separation of code letters (I recall also similar with code "f n j", too). I found the pictured S84/98 T3 at the SOS ten years ago. No one would buy it and so I made offer and purchased for $125. Bayonet is Elite-Diamant 39 with c v l | 1940 armorer replacement/unnumbered scabbard. Both bayonet and scabbard exhibit strong original blue finish with few nicks and some lite surface rust so appear to have been mated together for a long time.
