Does Anyone Repair Gravity Knifes?

Does anyone do repair work on gravity knives? Found a gravity knife missing the blade trigger and with moderate damage to one of the wooden grip panels. Didn't know if someone repaired these and if so, whether it was economical in trying to rescue and restore this gravity knife.
 
Hello, Which model is it? I know guys that utilized parts from the $100 repros that can be disassembled.
 
Marked SMF Solingen Rostfrei. Does that help? Don't know much about gravity knives. I've always wanted one but found them fairly expensive. Thought fixing this one might be the way to go. Of course, if fixing this one is possible. Do you know of anyone who does repair work?
 
they are not that expensive anymore compared to what they were selling for. There is a guy from Michigan who use to set up @ SOS that repaired them. Then all you have is a repaired knife. Not worth the investment unless you get it for next to nothing. The back strap spring is what usually breaks.
 
I didn't purchase it. It sold for $37.00 plus 10% buyer's premium plus sales tax. Don't know if passing on it was a good or bad thing.
