Dress Bajonet real or fake?

I can buy this dress bajonett. For me it will be the first in my collection. I don't know all the makers of these kind of bajonets and on what i should pay attention. Honestly, the only thing that makes me hesitate, is the low asking-price for this one.
I'm hoping that someone here just can tell me "go for it".
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
The maker is Paul Seilheimer in Solingen. Overall condition looks good. So if the price is acceptable for you then go.......
Generally you should look that there is no corrosion on the zinc hilt. This cannot be restored.

Nice long version KS98. If the price is right go for it. They go for around $100 in the US. A rare maker can fetch more.

Yes a nice original long version PS didn't make a lot of KS98 mostely known for his sword production. timothy

There are reported reproductions of this dress bayonet and PS marking done postwar, but this looks ok to me.b.r.Andy

There is I've seen them all I have seen are the engraved service dedication types reportedly done in Spain I don't know myself as I stay away from engraved unless I would be certain of origin. timothy
