Very nice & Navy property marked too. It is interesting in that it looks like the box is from a first pattern kit that was modified to accommodate the second pattern kit.

I know nothing… did not know this was navy or the box was first pattern. Explains what I think is a Weimar eagle proof on the box.

wow ! time to start leaning and maybe the seller had no clue either.. I have only seen one other. This is a very rare set. N means north sea fleet. The ### is the property or inventory #. Only the navy did such things on their weapons and other high theft items like optics. The metal tag on the box is other thing I havent seen .. The other KM kit i have seen I dont think had the tag. This was added by the KM..

Peter picked up on the box conversion.. Another rare oddity..

added : my guess on the tag maybe others can finish.
E.L . 959 EL is the erma kit designation.. # 959 is the inventory #
K.K.N. is Klein Kaliber the N meaning what ? Insert ? Or adapter ? Conversion ? German speaking fellow might know.

Super amazing set made my morning seeing it..

That’s a nice kit. Here’s a couple shots of my boxed kit.
