Fake of the Year on Gunboards

There's a Preduzece 44 mixmaster 98k with Yugo crest and SS runes marked .22 over the Yugo rework designation, with an EL 24 conversion unit installed offered for sale as a trainer on Gunboards for $1,850. Of course, it's complete with bringback papers signed by someone who couldn't spell rifle correctly. Why would anyone be suspicious?

Totally legit. Let me explain: reworked in the 50's by the Yugo's, bought in the 90's by someone who traveled back in time to 1945 where it acquired papers. So a true veteran of history.

Wonder if anyone is going to bite? Or if it's already getting ratphucked on the forum??? I'll have to check that out.

758 views with no offers so at least it has entertainment value. Who knows, it could just be a device intended to gain new participants to Gunboards. At least no one has unloaded on the seller so they must be gentlemen over there.

Trainer

He wrote that he updated the price, so $1800 is the lowered price? I would be in at $75 for the EL-24 insert parts. ;-)

Maybe not heavy mech. He may have realized later on that he got screwed and was just trying too get his money back. I'm sorry double his money back! :biggrin1:

I agree with Aeisir I would also pay him $75 for the EL-24 insert parts. Maybe $10 more if he throws in some ammo with it.

This must be for the guys who won't buy anything without capture papers.:moon:

I have a question why is this rifle still for sale on gun boards? There are people on a think this piece is real still. And then summer saying well the rifle may not be real but the papers are.....really.

I almost lost it when someone asked if the papers are real.

Not even going too post on that tread waste of my time. When the capture papers have the word rifle spelled wrong. WTF people.

Did you guys see the little demi-rune on the receiver below the crest? Yes, they now have runes in Junior's sizes, so my daughter will be thrilled :googlie

I agree, this one could be approaching 'EPIC' status if the carnival keeps rolling down the road.

I finally posted on that thread couldn't stand watching the dumb comments anymore. Basically said people a postwar Yugo rifle, with a $75 22 cal insert, with fake capture papers. Value maybe $300-$350. Originally buyer got screwed no more or no less and this listing should be pulled before someone else falls for this rifle.

End of story and end of discussion.
