Felton Video: WW2 Allied Firearms in German Service

Damn, you know your collecting interest has truly arrived when Mark Felton does a video on it...:LOL:
 
Great video. This is yet another source stating that the High Power was issued mainly to the Waffen SS and Fallschirmjäger. So, is this considered fact? I've read and heard this from various other sources as well, but there are still people that argue against it.

I'm not aware of any documents or text supporting that, but I assume he's being a responsible historian and drawing at least tentative conclusions based on still photos and video. Both certainly count as primary source material, as do capture pile photos.

The problem of course is that some groups were 'overrepresented' in both newsreels and photos.
