I get the joke, but I've seen way, way worse damage caused by good 'ol boys in the 60s trying to take apart a gun in their garage with zero information and zero way to easily get more. If you google "k98 disassembly" today you'll at a bare minimum hit a few youtube videos that show it being done. Is that sufficient? Is it the best source? No, but it's a damn sight better than someone standing in their garage and just figuring it out with whatever tools they have on hand.read a book? maybe in the old days, but today? izit on tiktok?
