FN ABL 1952 Trainer Cleaning Rod

Can anyone tell me what these trainers used, or a source for the cleaning or stacking rods? I have accumulate three of them and no rods on any.

For what it's worth. I have the army version of these. Yes no rod. Came that way 30 years ago. I'll tell you that a regular FN short rifle rod will fit and looks fine. Yeah the diameter is to big for the bore. However if you want to put one in it's your best bet.

Here is a photo of the two I purchased this spring. I haven't taken photos of the latest Navy I acquired yet.



My Mauser actioned trainer list is: 1 Erma DSM34, 1 Gustoff Werke KKW, 1 MAS45, 1 Army FN ABL 1952 & 2 Navy FN ABL 1952's. I also have an FN ABL 1952 in 30-06.

Nice looking rifles. I don't have an example of a FN ABL but I do have a soft spot for training rifles though.
