G41 Walther parts to reproduce?

I'm going to hit up several local shops to get some info on fabbing up some stuff. So, repro parts are available from the guy in France...and that might be a consideration to just buy them and scrap this idea....but I have several rifles that tend to need the same parts.... So...what is there a demand for? I need recuperators, op rods, and sheet metal bands, and bandsprings that I need. Is that the common items a lot of G-41 restorations need? What would be the demand for it? It might be all "pie in the sky" because I might have to just pass if prices are too high...but if they are reasonable, then it might be worth having some made up.... Any advice is welcome, Thanks, Chris....

This will be a tough one. Coming from a background in industrial engineering, I can tell you the op-rod and any other sheet metal pressed parts will be expensive. The does/ tooling is pretty expensive. From a business perspective, these are generally amortized over time. With the quantities that are likely expected, it’s probably not worth it. Machined parts are different. Recuperators would be cool!

41 parts .

... i have had some parts from over-seas;.. some fit, others........ ! and;.. several years back, the g43 guy in ohio was making some recuperators, not sure what happened. anyway;;;.... the rifles are kinda expensive, & parts are accordingly. i have six recuperators, so give me a call and we can go from there....... terrill .

Any update to this? I’m in dire need of a bolt locking lever, if that’s the correct wording for it.
