I'm looking for help authenticating some parts on my ac44 sniper rifle. In particular, some electropenciled components and a serialized scope mount. I would like to start a correspondence with someone who has a lot of knowledge about this stuff. If you guys could refer to some experts, that would be awesome

there isn't a snow balls chance in hell its real...... its a low end sarco/ ebay mount with stamped serial #####>..
That's funny (but I'm sure not to him) however I know zero about these and I thought it was a repro.

Lets see the rest of it.. The rifle might be fine. The mount can always be replaced.

We need the "The DeFonter Bubbas back,,
Boy when you need advice were are the old"DeFonter" bubbas who were the two man recking crew who would rip any mount apart on the old forum.(They were wrong about 90 % of the time).They would have had a picnic on this one,,Boy when you need advice,, Yep! Sadly your mount is a repro..And the worst part,, it is on the bottom of the list of repro mounts..I was at a show this wk.end and it really burns my butt when some greedy"BASTARD" tries to push off a real nice G/K 43 as 100% original.When infact the mount and bands were repro..And I'm fully sure the owner knew that. Am I and expert on this stuff,???,But I sure own a lot of them and seen many more..From the most ugly repros to the best made repro,,And lots of originals besides the ones I own..And most of those folks on this forum know the real thing when they see them.Have a nice day and a great life---Frenchy
