German Mauser 147 1939 Question regarding Stock

Picked up a vet bring back that has been sporterized. Picked up a red glue stock that I think would be correct for the rifle, cupped butt plate. The rifle is a 147 1939, has 3 Nazi eagles on the side with the code 359. The stock I picked up has the same Nazi eagle with 359 as well. Did a 147 1939 have a flat butt plate or cupped ? I will post pictures soon. What book is available for this type of information ? Thanks for any help.

It would be a flat butt plate version for 1939. Cupped showed up after 1940.

My 147/39 flat butt plate has the following on the stock markings

Right side:

Eagle over H
WaA37
WaA37

Wrist:

WaA37
Eagle

Keel:
Serial number + block
WaAXX(can't make out number)
WaAXX (cant' make out number)

The stock is also unnumbered inside. When did they stop numbering the inside of the stock ? He also had a S/42 1937 rifle, but did not have the Nazi eagles. What rifle would be better to have both are sporterized the 1937 does have the front and rear barrel bands that match along with the trigger guard, the 1939 does not have any bands and trigger does not match ? Both bolts are also not matching.

The 147 code is Sauer, where the S42 is Mauser Oberndorf. I'm a sucker for both, but if the S42 included more matching parts (the bands), if given a choice, I would have picked that one.
Both would be flat buttplate stocks. Chances are you could sell the stock you bought and get what would be 'correct'.
You mention your stock is marked e359. Where on the stock is this mark? Is the stock marked in any other fashion? Is it standard configuration with bolt takedown lug and bayonet mount?
