I got this recently, I thought it is very cool and wanted to share. Printed in Germany after the war and sent back, the postmark is Aug 29, 1945 US ARMY POSTAL SERVICE and the envelope is a Nazi court document mailer, and it came this way. 4th AD 24 Armd Eng BN, I would say this is a real capture paper.

great stuff. pure history!
George, how do you store your papers? Do you use archival papers or folder? thanks

Dave not sure on this it is just big, I'll see what Peter thinks he seem to be the paper expert.

Thanks. I've seen 'acid free' paper and plastic designated for 'archival storage' but I have no knowledge if those are helpful or harmful. I've just been keeping papers away from light and high humidity.

all the capture papers and other bringback papers I have in that acid free stuff i got at the office supplies place, I posted and got some good answers. do you collect japanese stuff ??

LMAO Good one, one must appreciate a sense of humor. You ever seen anything like this before, I cannot find any info on it all or anything else like it.

I wouldn't mind collecting that stuff just havent had the time to actively seek anything out. Just have the two 99's that fell into my lap.
btw. at the moment I have a dou44 with a FN bolt that you may recognize.

It is a nice rifle I am just not a huge DOU fan, I have one, at least someone else can enjoy it. I did not think you were buying anymore ( job prices of 98's ) The Japanese stuff are pictures, full combat from Tarawa, very disturbing mass graves napalm burned bodies. Let me know I'll send some scans to you, they are wicked I warn you now.
