Gewehr 98 headspace issue? Extractor?

I'm a somewhat new collector, but overall very familiar with firearms. I have noticed an oddity with my 1918 Oberndorf Gewehr 98. After firing, and only after firing, the rim of the case will be scarred in one area. The bolt is not super stiff, but my Turk K.Kale is definitely a smoother extracter. It doesn't do this on an unfired case, those will extract smooth, easy, and with no marks. Is this a headspace issue or an extractor issue? I can buy a gauge set, just thought I would ask here first to see if anyone has experienced this. The rifle is mismatched, and not totally shot but it has definitely been there. Cases are not bulged or splitting.

I assume that the bolt is not original (same serial number) as the rifle....

Don't think it is a headspace issue. I can think of several possibilities. Maybe a worn/broken extractor lip where it engages the rim? Loose/worn extractor with a lot of slop such that there is only partial extractor engagement? Deformed extractor that is not holding proper tension agains the case rim? Soft case brass? Hard extraction caused by pitted/dirty chamber?

GEM,
Rifle has been pretty thoroughly cleaned a few times after shooting berdan primed ammo, so it isn't dirty. I didn't see anything I thought "wrong" with the extractor, but will pull both bolts and compare side by side when I get home. I can take pictures of the bolt face and extractor if need be.
Thanks!

I cannot find numbers on bolt, just the two markings shown. Does anybody see anything odd about the bolt face or extractor? It looks normal to me, isn't loose or chipped.

It's a Czech bolt & since it's not original to the rifle, checking the headspace prior to shooting it would be wise....
