How hard to find a buttplate for a 625C BSW?

Title pretty much sums it up, I'm guessing impossible, although I did see this in the Simpson book, so wondering if a DSM buttplate can be used in place? Thanks for any help in advance! Chris...

Why not make this out of mild steel?

jsz is right. Or find a similar surplus buttplate to use as a donor. Weld it up where needed, trial fit it to the stock, grind a little, weld a little, etc. I made one for a KKW that way about forty years ago, using an unknown buttplate from the junkbox. Fun project, and it turned out great.
