I need help with this barrel maker

G'day, I bought this barrel recently at a gun show. The seller didn't know much about it except it's German, 8mm and allegedly fits the K98 action. I really don't know a lot about the various waffenampt stamps as they relate to inspectors and manufacturers. The finish is well blued with some pitting where the wood work was. Bore is very good with crisp rifling. The serial number is C11171 and is also marked on the rear sight, barrel and front sight. Could anyone help with deciphering the codes and advising me as to who made this one? I can't read the waffenampt number clearly, even with a magnifying glass. The joys of age I guess. I'd like to fit it to K98 action to use in military service rifle competitions and use up some of the 8mm surplus ammo I have. I thought it may have been a Portuguese contract barrel? Any answers are welcome.

Many thanks

I think the inspection marks are WaA63, & the sn format does look similar to that used on Port contract rifles. Is there any more to the barrel code string?

Agreed on this one being a Portuguese contract barrel, most likely a M937A judging by the the serial number. WaA63 is the acceptance for Mauser Oberndorf which made the Portuguese contract rifles and the barrel code looks like 1937 dated blank made by Ruhrstahl(?) with a lot code of 39 unless there's more to the barrel code that I'm missing.
