Greetings. Is this a German Grave Marker? And what should I do with It?

Cant tell if it is officially or not but I have seen several similar to that in a German gravesite in Kosovo. Some were metal and some were crude wooden. NCO's and officers tended to have better markers over the Jr enlisted. Just my observations tho. Chris
 
Well I can tell you it is made at some sort of pot metal. Thanks for the info.

Assuming I'm reading it correctly, 13.V.45 was the 13th of May, 1945. Interesting if so, as VE day was 5/8/45. Not hard to imagine someone succumbing to wounds after the fact but all the same the rest of the story might be interesting.
 
That looks indeed like a grave marker, 32d is the plot number he was buried in.

I have checked his name on the German wargraves website but I didn't find a possible match and honestly I think this is where it ends.
My estimated guess is that he was reburied, mayby in his hometown and that he thus isn't listed on the wargraves website (the list isn't there isn't 100% compleet), this grave marker from his first grave most likely would have been kept as a kind of souvenir, this isn't an uncommen tradition in Western Europe.

Interesting post. I think its a German Grave Marker. I want to know more info, can you tell me where did you find this.
