Is this a k98 scope

I bought this hensoldt wetzlar to put on k98 from 1943, is it period correct.

I am searching info but feel free to chime in on it if you know.

Could be wrong ..but I think the bottom rail is non period correct.

The scope is not a WWII Period Sniper or at least not one of the types used on K98 Sniper Rifles . If Your wanting Period Sniper Scope You would need to find one like in attached Pic . It also depends on what TYPE Sniper Rifle You wanting

What Type German Sniper are You looking to build ?.

Don't really matter what type of sniper just something period correct sniper.
All I know is its a gustloffe works Mauser from 1943, and still searching info on both,rifle and scope.

I found these in pictures searching web and downloaded image,
The one with measuring tape is selling for over $1k and says German ww2 sniper.
The red background says from 1953.
Both hw dural dialytan

It is important to know what Type/Variant Sniper Rifle your wanting to build because each type have specific scope that were used on them . Neither of the Scopes You show are original Sniper Scopes .

Am out on side rail cause normal receiver.
Not sure on block for high turret,
Most likely low turret or
Either single/double claw which were primarily used by the SS.

Seen my mistake dural wasnt used it was just dialytan.
Wonder what I can use it own
