Hello,
I was wondering if the experts wouldn't mind chiming in on a question that has been leaving me curious. Most of us have come to love jp sauer's unique finishing and polishing of their k98s. The question is what type of bluing was applied to Sauer rifles and parts? Was it a rust bluing process? Was it a hot bluing process like brunn? Im curious to know also if there was any transition in the bluing process between the years. Pre war vs. Early vs. Mid vs. Late. Thanks in advance
