K43 accessories book project

Can't wait to see the book when it's done, I'll definitely be interested in picking one up when it's published.

.... if someone have an original Bu-scope, please contact me. Plus, period unpublished photos showing G/K 43 items would be nice.

As for an edition in English: In order to have the books printed in best quality I would have to order at least 300 at a very high price. The more you have printed the cheaper they get. This would not be the problem, since these book projects are not profit oriented - I have very often paid a mad price fpor an object just to get opportunity to make a photo, but it is a storage capacity question in the meanime. So I think I am going again to make the book in German and give a translation of the text into Englsih as free pdf. Considered the weight of the 350-500 pages the weight oriented postage to the US is EUR 50 at current prices, from the experience I made with sending the whole StG44 accessories series to the US. I hope that some customs will not apply also. Would I be business oriented I would send the file to a printer to the U.S. and have it printed and distrbuted there. But this would cut me off from the valued contact to fellow enthusiasts and besides take time, which is needed for the next accessory projects. I am sorry that I cannot give more at the moment.

From a sniper point of view please note that the Soviets put the knobs in a position where the gun could be always operated, whereas the Germans put the knobs in a position where the sniper had to put the right hand off the trigger and was unable to operate the device while setting the scope.
