Got a New shooters kit from frontline militaria and noticed the piston cylinder was hard to get on and it slightly rubs against the barrel will this be an issue while firing?

That's not right, it shouldn't rub. I would expect some function issues but I'd be more concerned with it rubbing the finish of the barrel in that spot.

Should I contact the place where I bought it? I didn’t think it would be that close to the barrel or slightly rub.

YES! If it rubs its too thick of material. Do you have an original to check the thickness with?
Yes I do. I’ll see what the original looks like on it
Looks like the issue is with the actual piston they sent me. The one from the shooters kit slightly bends when it’s fully screwed in… the original piston goes in perfectly straight. Guess I’ll have to ask for a new piston.
