All,I am posting some pics of two or three K98k triggers.1) S/42, e/63 unnumbered THANK YOU BRUCE !!! 2) e/26 , WaA , unnumbered. 3) Circle Z, e/607 , unnumbered. This one is more likely not a true K98k armorers part. This was taken at a depot. Does anyone have some to post ?

nice S42 set. the E/26 and E/607 they are just early production triggers. they never serialed the triggers so you should be able to find almost every manufacuter pre-1939 that will have the trigger E/?? or Subcontracted marked available. I see your S/42 marked one as the only true Armours trigger set and it is sweet. now marked E/?? sears with no NUMBERS is a different story. it's hard to say what the sears were spares or armours or installed/replaced at a later date when they stopped serialing replacement parts etc. like the cocking piece debate i say if S/42 or S/237 or Circle 27 are armours spares. then the E/655 or E/140 ONLY marked have now fallen in the armours parts??? to me a proper E/140 armours spare would also be marked CH. i think the theory they are useing if E/655 marked could be another supplier other that S/42 etc. and why it is not mark other wise as the E/655 just mean it came from the town, city that oberndorf also was in.
