K98k Bubba gun in 45acp on gunbroker?

I'm still wondering why somebody would do this? This rifle could have been a possible Gew98 reworked rifle to the K98k, or just someone took a Gew98 and sported the hell out of it. I have seen the K98k rifles converted to different rifle calibers but never pistol calibers did I mention it takes 1911 magazines now too. You guys be the judge of this one.

I recall some outfit selling .45acp conversions for Mauser actions, has to be 30+ years ago.

This isn't really that unusual. .45acp has the same head diameter as 7.92x57 and the conversion is pretty easy. Kits were being sold very recently (maybe even still) and I know of several guys up here that have done it.

I was seriously considering doing one myself but I wanted to section and shorten a M98 action and have it feed out of the internal mag. I even had a donor action (don't worry I didn't ruin any K98k's or any other milsurp) but lost interest and sold it off.
