Kar 88, depot rework?

This example has several forced matched parts via overstamping, and some mismatched small parts. Not trying to make it something it is not,
I am not knowledgable enough about Imperial era rework practices to know if the markings are period done. Appreciate opinions.

16. T.E. 62

as RyanE already stated its the Train-Bataillon no. 16, Ersatz department, weapon no. 62.

3. A.F.E. 3. 239.

Footartillery regiment no. 3, Ersatz-Bataillon, battery no. 3, weapon no. 239.
This would indicate that the barrel band was originally part of an Gewehr 91 since these were given to the footartillery units.

With kind regards

Vincent
