Looking for a Kar98k in a good condition and price! Original and able to shoot straight and wanting a middle to early war model. If anyone could direct me to a website or looking to sell one that would be perfect. Thank you!
 
Well, if all you want is just a kar98k, you can always go to gunbroker. But before purchasing I'd highly recommend doing some research so you can get an idea of what to look for and avoid. It's not hard to get burned.
 
Price can vary based on the model, whether it is a capture or not, which parts are matching or not, whether or not it is refinished, there are a lot of different factors to be considered. As for the license, that just depends on your state or country.
 
This forum is the best place to buy a K98k, but I’d advise you to do your research and find out how much you’re willing to spend. Also make sure to look into your state/country laws on firearms if you’re not sure if you need a license or not. Most likely you don’t, but that’s something you should really know.
 
Also if an authentic GermanKar98 is beyond your budget you could always get a different Mauser pattern rifle!
The Czech Vz 24s are like the next closest thing from the same time era and most can be found for under $700 on GunBroker or at local gun shows
