I think you guys are going to like to see this I just ended up purchasing a Spandau carbine yesterday really close in serial number to this one and they're in the exact same company.
 
Yes, very nice! I added it to the study and reconciled the Spandau K71 to my trends, found a couple updates... I guess I saved them but never updated them to the study. It is nice to see them group so well, I noticed this many years ago with the pre-war 98a unit markings, - which I also extrapolated to the pre-war G98's as a probability, though this will damn difficult to make a certainty! The survival rates of G98 with original stocks, unaltered etc.. is very low in comparison to pre-war 98a. After 10 years or so running with this theory the grouping exists but highly irregular outside of KS and Garde and they are rather loose by comparison (the longer I run with this theory the less rigid it appears and is more likely a general grouping not any formal group delivery).
 
You bet guys will get it fully photographed. Need to get the gewehr cleaned up to be posted up as well. Unfortunately been working alot lately.
