PS
I've always wondered if I could find more information on my grandfather's eldest brother, Karl Heinz Schoop, 1896-April 1917 KIA Verdun, age 21. I'm still looking for a lost picture from 20 years ago that showed him in his uniform. German casualty lists had a close match, but not exact.

I think that I have just found a long lost realitive.

I am Gary Hass, of Canada. I am son of Clara Hass, nee Wieser, of Karlsrue Germany. She listed her family as this:

May 8, 1906 Gertrude, Married became Bohner
Luciel, Died at 5 years of age, Blond hair, blue eyes
Nov 11, 1911 Albert Walter Married to Lina, no children known, Died May 20, 1987
Dec 12, 1914 Wilhem, Married Ida (Ida died 1983) He died in Belgium and burried in a soldiers grave yard, had twins Renete and Christa
Aug 1923 Irena, married Ludwig Moser ( he died in 1958)
Oct 8, 1927 Clara, Married Arno Hass, Moved to Canada Died July 12, 1993
March 25, 1929 Margot, Married and became a Burgraff In Karlshrue, with two children Peter and Joseph, Joseph is married.
Helmut, Died at 12 years of age, from falling of the roof.
Nov 2, 1924/25 Erich,Last hear from in 1944 in Yokuaslovia.

It appears that this is one of the family members. When Clara, came to Canada, there was no further contact with family.
I have been searching for a connection and found this.
This is fantastic. Do you have any other ideas where I can find Wieser Information.

Hi Peter.
Firstly you can see I managed to get back on.
Is it possible to find out if the purchaser is in fact a family member.
That too would help my genological research also.

Peter
I thought I would attach my mothers pass as you can see the family resemblances from Wihelm.

I would love to learn that there is distant family still there.

Gary
