I got shite lucky last weekend and stumbled onto this untouched/messed with Takedown gravity knife. I have never owned a second model in this condition. Matching #'s on the pommel and side plate. Nice honed blade Rb#'d and blued awl. With luftampt 5 stamp. The guy I bought it from said his uncle brought it back and he couldn't remember why he ended up with it. He's had it all these years and figured it was time to let it go. I think Im keeping this one !

I wound up with a type 1 and type 2 gravity knife. My take down model has an original LW marked lanyard on it. There is just something about these knives that has always appealed to me. I am not sure where you are stumbling onto these things but I would gladly drive up to Mass to stumble along with you:thumbsup:
