Luger markings

Have the opertunity to grab this 1938 luger for 1,800 I know the photos aren't a lot to go on, but what markings should I be looking for on it? I'm going to look at it in person tomorrow, but I want to be prepaid, it's a two hour drive.

Should be S/42 marked and the year. All of the larger part should have the full serial number and the small parts should have last 2 digits of serial number. You will have to disassemble to see the numbers on the grips, hold open latch, trigger, and firing pin. For $1800 it should be all matching, original finish with a mismatched magazine.
