Was at Les Invalides in Paris at the end of May and took these shots for y'all. This is probably one of my favorite military museums in the world based upon originality and condition, content. More to come later. While my wife, aunt, and daughter were hanging out at the Les Contemporary Froo Froo exhibit somewhere, I was roaming Les Invalides all day without listening to any whinging and whipsawing ("when are we done"). This is an exceptional all matching T-Gewehr, the nicest I've ever seen in person. Whomever the curator(s) are really picked top notch weapons, gear, uniforms, etc., because everything was top notch collector quality, matching, etc. I would love to have this thing.

Absolutely gorgeous! What is the collar around the bolt handle right next to the knob? I'm not sure if I've ever noticed that on another one?

You should had told me, was in Belgium around that time.. Belgian Army Museum has about 20 Tankgewehr in their storage, that was ridiculous .. and then Grand Curtis collection which is more than just ridiculous because there is not a single gun in there that isn't like made yesterday. Of course that applies for the Tankgewehr there too ..

Anyway, getting OT. Very nice Tankgewehr you pictured. Thanks for sharing!
