MP44 magazine 'gqm' WaA A98 - is it real or fake?

someone told me this magazine might be a Shoei copy.
I spent about 2 hours reading through different forums, looking at the Shoei website, but I am still clueless.
How do I know if this mag is a real gqm ?

Kinda weird. The MP44 designation looks like it’s pantographed on yours vs others. The finish is also strange.

These are circulating and I think yours is among them, all the magazines are from shoei

I paid $215 - how much is a Shoei mag pricewise?
Then I will decide if I send it back, get a little refund, or maybe keep it.

yes. It was a mixed bag of original and dubious parts.

To be honest, for the inexperienced eye these magazines really look very real

Yes, I didn’t like the phosphate, it looks like a modern “zinc phosphate” metal prep that companies like Eastwood sell.
