My new DUV 41

Stock is not factory matched and with that later bayonet lug, obvious replacement.
All metal matched, so could be later rework or could be post-war replaced.
Sorry but we call them as we see them.
 
Here are reference images from an original BLM 41 dated rifle, from the 'n' block, much later than your 'g' block.
Stock side acceptance and inspection, stock lower SN and correct bayonet lug for 'H' band.

I definitely see the difference now! Some users suggested that my stock might have been sanded down. As for the bayonet lug, that is such a minimal change that I would have definitely not noticed at all lol

Either way, this K98 has more matching parts than my 1st one! My first K98 is almost entirely mismatched...and it's not even a Russian capture!
