Need Help with possible values of some German items...

I am looking at a collection in a few days and would like some help with approximate values (and if there are any neat, home runs I should know about). Please assume all are original. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...
First question: What is the large silver eagle in the middle of the first picture?

Thanks!

lots if lower end stuff.. great collection if your just starting out. If you are looking to buy for resale be very careful. Lots of this stuff is very hard to move. The photo album depending on the content might be the best item.

It would take a while to go through this but, use your common sense and look on gun broker ect. Tons of this stuff out there...

The German cross is a good item and the rest is beginning items. If it’s a grand buy it if it’s 2 grand I would pass. Like it was said some is hard to move.

Pretty good start on a collection, if you are starting a collection, at a grand. The German Cross alone could be worth that. For resale, you would be sitting on the more common items. There are some nice looking pieces from what I can see in the pics. The War Merit Cross group and Wound Badge group are good little sub-set starts.

The German cross [ if real ] is easily worth $2,000.00 by itself / Retail value [ all fairly common items ] is subjective based on market, but all total, including German Cross, would be around $4500.00 - $5,000.00 / Most dealers would want to pay on average 60% of retail value.

IMO looks like an original wartime produced Zimmermann German Cross in silver. Less common than a Zimmermann German Cross in gold. The 20 stamped on the pin is for C.F. Zimmerman. Pforzheim.

The example you have has been worn and the black finish is pretty much gone on the "sunburst".

Three German Crosses were posted on WAF for sale 8-19-21. Two of them are Zimmermanns, one is in gold and the other is in silver. Sellers asking price for the gold $2300. His asking price for the silver, $4500.
Update, he sold both of the Zimmermanns. The silver went today.
