Norwegian G33/40

[Dradzk]

A G33/40 wasn't really on my list, but when the opportunity arose to pick up a Norwegian capture, I couldn't say no. Missing the front sight hood, but everything else looks original to me, though admittedly I am relying on what I read in vol IIb and whatever I can port over from my experience with the 98k. Plenty of the 'circle z' marks. Would love everyone's thoughts as I am just now learning about these. Must say though, if you have to import mark a rifle, this is the way to do it.

Wow, that's a hell of a discrete import mark. Honestly that might have run afoul of the regs even in the 90s.

Yes. I was going to hold out for a Norwegian 98k, but ended up figuring I wasn't going to find another 33/40 in my price range.

Very nice! The best thing about the Norwegian reworks is it seems they usually kept all the matching parts with each rifle. Not the norm for post war refurbs.
