I have the opportunity to buy this rifle.
By looking at the pictures it seems to be a good one. It is a recent found and the rifle haven't got any other recent proofmarks.
For the moment i have only this pictures.
All opinions are welcome...and they would be a greatfull help...for a beginning collector like me...

Indeed. Straight out of Grandma's attic. Looking at the screws it may never have been apart or certainly not in a long time. Great find! :thumbsup:
 
It looks original and correct to me. Nice and raw, and rough. The way it should be. If you buy it "DO NOT TRY TO CLEAN IT IN ANY WAY" Doing so will effect the value. Clean the bore if necessary, light oil. Normally I'd advise a light linseed oil for the stock but I would hate to mess with that one. Excellent find.

Let's hope/pray that i will come to an agreement with the seller. I'll let you know when it's so far.
 
Im assuming 1200 euros ? For a matching byf45 with some storage damage that's not the end of the world.

Well I don't know what transfer/transaction fees apply in Europe, but $1270ish USD I'd say is not a bad price either.
